Description

The Vineyard
The Weir Vineyard Yorkville Highlands is located on a south facing hillside of rocky gravely soils at an elevation that ranges between 850 and 1000 feet. Cool ocean air funnels up the Anderson Valley to regulate the ripening of the exceptional fruit from this vineyard.

Winemaker Notes
The wines from the Weir vineyard continue to impress this winemaker. This complex wine possesses aromas of cherry cola, black cherry, espresso, Herbs de Provence, and rose blossoms. Seamless midweight flavors of cola, cocoa nib, and ripe red fruits coat the palette. Like previous vintages of this wine, the concentration of flavors and integration of tannin of this youthful wine truly speak for the quality of the vineyard. Fans will enjoy this wine over the next 10+ years. A vigorous decant is recommended if consumed over the next 6—12 months.

Vinification
