2019 Terra de Promissio Vineyard Sonoma Coast

Similar in color to the Nichole’s Blend, but with Sonoma Coast’s classic translucence, the 2019 Terra de Promissio exists at the crossroads of old-world flavors with new world intensity.  “TdP” slinks from the glass on beguiling aromatics of sappy Burgundian fruit notes, damp pine forest and earthy mushroom notes. On the palate, the intensity takes hold with a bold expression of black cherries, pine resin, savory smoked meats, and tanned leather. The savory, smoky fruit notes cling to the back of the palate on the long satisfying finish. The 2019 TdP drinks beautifully today and it will gain significant complexity over the coming decade.
